NaPoWriMo Day 12
Ode To An Un-Named Season
Winter’s garb of brilliant white
Rent now, drab, grey, grubby
Make way now, new beauty comes
Verdant, life, sap rising
Birds cluster ‘midst new buds
Mates call, sing, chirp, whistle
Stunning blossoms soon appear
Bees hum, zip, sip, working
Vernal sun now warms the land
Ground thaws, plants, growth, beauty
Sleeping animals awake
They stretch, feed, mate, living
The season of rebirth begins
Winter, scraps, fade, passing
Life appears at breakneck pace
Wonder, joy, peace, amaze.
Cheers,
