Mike & Candy

Two people who are so in love,
It makes me smile to see.
My friends I had an awesome time,
Touched you invited me.

Your love’s so very obvious,
You make me think of mine.
I wish you every happiness,
A life lived on cloud nine.

You’re young and you have much to learn,
And so much life to live.
If I had just one gift for you,
It’s this advice I’d give.

Remember then what you feel now,
For this is what is real.
Forget your anger and each hurt,
Your love is all that’s real.

My Loving Angel.

I lost myself when I found you,
You’re all I have looked for.
I knew my center now was here,
When I walked though your door.

You take the best that is in me,
And bring it to the top.
You see so much that I do not,
Your faith I must not drop.

With all your love and your belief,
I push myself along.
When I lose faith and can’t qo on,
It’s you that keeps me strong.

So I just want to give my thanks,
Without you I’m a mess.
So thank you for my purpose now,
Thank you my love God bless.

NaPoWriMo Day Fifteen

Yesterday was just a little too bleak.  So today I figured to write about the one thing in my life that is always wonderful.  No matter how lousy I feel, my incredible wife is always there to make me smile.

My Angel Lynn

There is someone who listens as,
I endlessly recite.
And try to tweak the words just so,
On every verse I write.

She always tries to see that I,
Am happy if she can.
And when it comes to sketch or verse,
She is my biggest fan.

The greatest pleasure in my life,
Is time she spends with me.
The truth is, time I spend with her’s,
The happiest I’ll be,

Sometimes we laugh and laugh until, Most think we’ve lost our minds.
Laugh at the strangest, random things,
Like glowing white behinds.

Sometimes we sit and don’t say much,
Just want each other near.
Soft gentle sounds of souls content,
Are all you’re apt to hear.

She’s everything to me you see,
My lovely Angel Lynn,
And paradise for me is found,
Whichever place she’s in.

I do not know what I would be,
If she were not with me,
And yet I know the truth is this,
A lesser man you’d see.

So thank you Lynn for all you are
And all the joy you bring.
I love you more than I can tell,
You are my everything.

Still The Only One For Me

I’ve had an awesome weekend with
My wife whom I love so.
But now it’s early Monday and
Its back to work I go.

We spent it all together and
This is the wondrous part.
With fifteen years behind we are
Still fresh as at the start.

Thank you so much oh Angel mine
For all the time we share.
I’m so much more alive with you
Than when you are not there.

I wish that it could be like this
For everyone it’s true.
But if it can’t then I’m just glad
It can for me and you.

I dreamed of love one summer night
And then when I awoke.
I realized it was a dream
That’s when my heart was broke.

For years I thought that was the end
My dream now never true.
But I know now the dream was real
Now that I have found you.

You’re everything I dreamt you’d be
That night so long ago.
I am so blessed to share your life.
So blessed you love me so.

I cannot thank you near enough
For all you do for me.
Although I pray that these few words
Will somehow help you see.

I’m so much more than I would be
Without you in my life.
I am so blessed in every way
To have you as my wife.
